In the works
Nov. 17, 2017
Last month I wrote about the process of my drawings and a bit on how I handle ink. Drawings like those happen often, sometimes two at a time, other times I don't even finish them and other times they make their way into the public eye. Those works are meant to be done quick and help me develop my skill as well as block in a composition in the event that it turns into a large painting. This series of photos chronicles the various paths that this particular painting has taken. Like any of my other painted works, this painting started off as a quick drawing and I eventually decided that it would make an interesting painting, but it's come with a set of difficulties I didn't expect. It's been over a year since it was started this piece and I project at least 2 more months for it to be done. Exploring different styles while attempting to sync what I already know how to do has proven to be a challenge. Minus a couple of missing pictures that I can't find, this is the evolution of a particular painting that remains unnamed.
On each picture, you'll find details of what the particular photo is showing. Enjoy!
